Indigo airlines is a low cost air carrier that is based in Gurgaon, in northern India. It is mainly centered on the IGI airport in New Delhi. It first started its services in august 2006 with flights flying from Delhi to Guwahati in the north east of India. The group is owned and promotes by the Inter Globe enterprises. With Delhi and Mumbai airports as hubs, it has daily flights to Mumbai, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Patna, Ahemdabad, Kochi, Nagpur and other domestic destinations.
